A comparison of 24 verified med spas inside Chicago city limits, with ratings observed on a stated date and named source platforms.
Search "best med spa Chicago" and you will get a page of med spas each telling you that they are the best med spa in Chicago. Almost none of them compare anything. We counted: of the first 36 organic results, 34 were single businesses ranking for a superlative they awarded themselves.
This page is the comparison those results are missing. It lists 24 med spas physically inside Chicago city limits, plus 7 suburban clinics labeled by suburb, and it tells you exactly where every rating came from and when we looked at it.
What counts as a med spa here
A medical spa offers treatments that require medical oversight: neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, medical grade lasers, prescription strength peels, and RF microneedling. A day spa offering massage and facials is a different business, and we exclude it even when it uses the word "spa".
That distinction removed one otherwise real Chicago business from this list. It also means a few entries below sit at the boundary, and we flag each one rather than quietly smoothing it over.

Almost every Chicago med spa list, including the tables above, skews heavily to the North Side and the downtown core. That reflects where the clinics actually cluster, but it leaves a real gap: a reader in Beverly, Morgan Park, or Mount Greenwood searching for a med spa in Chicago gets a list of places forty minutes away.
One verified clinic serves that side of the city.

What we could not verify
Six businesses that appear on other Chicago med spa lists did not survive verification, and we think saying so is more useful than a longer list.
- Sedora Med Spa, Ixchel Med Spa, and Forever 22 Med Spa have no Chicago area presence. The only real businesses under those names are in New York, Florida, and Ohio.
- Pink Health Spa is a real Chicago business, but its menu is massage and sauna only. It is a day spa, not a med spa.
- Images Med Spa in Hinsdale no longer exists under that name. It is now Elase Med Spa.
- Fusion Medical Spa on S Washington St in Naperville is closed. The brand operates from its Route 59 address.
If a "best med spa" list includes any of the first four as current Chicago clinics, it was not checked.
